Christmas Wish List for Tea Lovers

Christmas Wish List for Tea Lovers

05 Dec 18  |  By Shona Mahambre

Christmas is the season of gifting and giving, and sitting around the Christmas tree eagerly waiting to unwrap our Christmas gifts is a treasured ritual we look forward to come 25th morning. While receiving gifts is great, we often get stumped when trying to decide what to buy for others.

If you can’t decide what to buy the tea lovers on your list, don’t worry. We’ve put together a tea lovers wish list for Christmas that is sure to be a hit. Here’s the list

1. Tea Pets

Yes, you read that right. So what is a tea pet? A tea pet is a tea time companion to accompany the tea lover on their tea journey. When steeping yourself some tea, you can feed your pet some as well. These clay figurines will drink (absorb) the tea’s color and scent. There are many options like birds, pet pigs, tortoise and our personal favourite - the elephant! Look them up, they make great teatime pals.

2. Tea Infuser

No, we are not talking about your common stainless steel ones, though they do come in handy for daily use. We are referring to the Sharky Tea infuser that swims around in the cup, the Mr. Tea Infuser that looks like he is taking a dip in a pool, or the Tea Leaf infuser that looks like it is growing out of the cup. There are many creative options for these infusers that add to the tea drinking experience.

3. Tea Travel Mug

This is a must-have for tea lovers constantly on the go. Tea Travel Mugs come with an infuser making it a versatile option for loose hot tea or iced tea. It can also be used for fruit infused waters. The best thing about these mugs, they are leak proof and won’t make a mess in the car or on your coat.

4. Tea Leaf Reading Kit

This one is great for tea parties. Once everyone is done with their tea, it’s time to see what the future holds. Skip the Divination class at Hogwarts and channel your inner psychic with the tea leaf reading kit. The kit comes with instructions, a symbol dictionary and sometimes even some tea to get you started.

5. Tea

We had to add this to the list because there would not be tea lovers without good tea! Skip the usual green teas and pick some exotic or seasonal teas from around the world. Some great options would be Christmas teas, blooming flower tea, Matcha or Rooibos. Don’t forget to pick an assortment.

Our Christmas Tea Tin makes a great Christmas gift on a budget. This limited edition tin includes our seasonal picks for Christmas - Apple Spice Black Tea and Hibiscus Green Tea. Add this gift-ready tin to your tea collection or shop for a tea lover you know. No gift wrapping required!
