My blue pea tea isn't turning blue, but looks almost black at times. Am I doing something wrong?
The color released by the Blue Pea flowers depends on the PH level of the water. If the water is mildly alkaline, the brew will turn green, and if it is strongly alkaline it will turn almost black. Similarly, if the water used is mildly acidic, the brew will turn Purple in color ( similar to when lemon juice is used)
