Whether it’s drinking it as tea or whipping up a delicious dessert, we literally can’t get enough of Matcha. So when the Air Conditioning was recently undergoing maintenance, there was really only one thing we could do. Reach for our authentic Japanese tea and make a Matcha Green Tea Smoothie.
So here is the list of ingredients we chose to use to make our healthy Mint Matcha Smoothie:
- 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup ice.
- 1 tsp Tea Trunk matcha
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 1 Tablespoon of honey
It’s really simple to make. First place all the ingredients into a blender or nutri-bullet mixer. Blend until all the ingredients becomes a smooth liquid. Finally pour into a cup and enjoy. Our Matcha is packed full of antioxidants and has better nutritional value than normal green tea. It's health benefits are said to include detoxifying the impurities in the body, besides reducing blood pressure and regulating blood sugar.
