Jasmine Green Tea

Make way for the queen of teas. One of the first flavored teas in the recorded history of teas, Jasmine Green Tea is famous for its delicate flavour and sweet scent. Traditionally, jasmine buds are removed after infusing them with the tea. However, our blend includes the flower to give you a lingering taste of this legendary tea. Treat yourself to this ancient tea therapy from China.

Taste notes: Delicate and mellow with a subtle sweetness. Green tea adds depth and body to the floral flavour.

When to drink this tea? Enjoy 2-3 cups a day. Best had after meals, but never on an empty stomach.

Brewing instructions: 

Add 1 teaspoon or 1 tea bag per cup (150ml). Always pour hot water (80°C) on the tea leaves and not the other way around. Steep for 2-3 minutes. All our teas in tea bags or loose leaf can be rebrewed. Just add hot water and steep for longer than the first steep

Serving Suggestions: Pairs well With dim sums and lemon teacake. Jasmine Green Tea is best served hot.

Storage advice:

Store in the foil pouch in the tea tin or transfer to an airtight container, kept in cool dark place.If not consumed immediately teas should be stored in the refrigerator.

If storing in the refrigerator/ freezer, pack in small completely airtight packets or jars. Before use, wait for the tea to reach room temperature to prevent any condensation.
