Overnight oats just might be the solution to your problems as they are easy to make, extremely versatile and have a tonne of health benefits as well. Oats are rich in fiber, carbohydrates, plant-based protein, and B vitamins. This makes it a powerful meal for gut, heart, and brain health. Paired with Matcha which is a superfood loaded with antioxidants and 10 times the health benefits of green tea, Matcha overnight oats should definitely be your go-to breakfast choice. All it takes is 5 minutes to make this delicious and nutritious meal that will keep you full for hours.


Matcha overnight oats 3 ways:


BANANA WALNUT MATCHA OVERNIGHT OATS

  • ¾ cup oats
  • 1 cup milk/ soy milk/ almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Tea Trunk Matcha
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of your choice( honey/sugar/maple syrup/agave)
  • Vanilla extract

Topping:

  • Handful of walnuts
  • 1 small banana, sliced

 

STRAWBERRY COCOA MATCHA OVERNIGHT OATS

  • ¾ cup oats
  • 1 cup milk/ soy milk/almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Tea Trunk Matcha
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of your choice( honey/sugar/maple syrup/agave)
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Topping:

  • 4 ounces fresh strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs

 

APPLE CINNAMON MATCHA OVERNIGHT OATS

  • ¾ cup oats
  • 1 cup milk/ soy milk/almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Tea Trunk Matcha
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of your choice( honey/sugar/maple syrup/agave)

Topping:

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Apple pieces
  • Walnuts/pecans


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk together milk, matcha, and any other ingredients such as sweetener, cocoa powder, or vanilla extract.
  2. Add milk mixture and oats to a mason jar.
  3. Top with a lid and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Add the toppings in the morning and enjoy!

Oats can be eaten cold, directly from the refrigerator or heated in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Overnight oats will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
